- If your download is corrupt: It has been reported that AOL sometimes corrupts downloads, as well as some servers and ISPs that cache files. If you're having problems, contact us by e-mail and we'll send you back the download (assuming your e-mail account has a high enough size limit).

- If the 'Help'-'Contents' menu item is not bringing anything up, you need to install Microsoft's 'HTML Help'. This help format is used by most new programs. Go to this page to download HTML help, select 'hhupd.exe' at the bottom of the page, and run it.

If your problem is still not corrected, please e-mail us:

To insert a picture just right-click where you want the picture centered (you may have to double-click). If you have a background picture overlaying the calendar you should get rid of it temporarily to insert new pictures (or use the 'Edit'-'Insert Bitmap' menu item). After you right-click an 'open file' dialog will come up where you can select your picture/bitmap file. After you select Open, another dialog will come up where you can choose the options for your bitmap.

To make a picture fill the entire calendar background:

  1. First, you need to 'whiten' the picture out using an image processing application. Here's a good free one, Irfanview: http://www.irfanview.com . If you use Irfanview, select 'Image'-'Enhance Colors' off the menu, and then increase all the RGB values the same amount to 'whiten' it out.
  2. Now go to into Calendar Constructer, and insert an image into your calendar by selecting 'Edit'-'Insert Bitmap' off the menu. Select the image file you want to use as the background and select 'Open'.
  3. The 'Insert Picture' dialog will appear. Select 'Entire Calendar' in the position field, and select the 'Fill Entire Area' checkbox. Hit OK.

To delete a picture you'll need to first right-click on it (where no other picture overlaps with it). You should then get a green border around it. Then hit the Delete key.
